On the board there are some tuners once the composite mod has been done they can be adjusted to tweek display vertical hold and colour match. Note make a mental note of where the setting is before starting you should use this method carefully moving the setting in slight increments then test

You could just simplify things and retro fit a 128 board inside a 48k case which maybe 1. Cheaper 2. Less risk of damaging. Was there any ram packs made for the 48 or 16k spectrum? If so a clue to further expansion could be found inside. 64 ram packs were produced for the zx81. It wouldn't surprise ...

Hi thought id inspire some conversation here. What is your must have tip or Sinclair easter egg?

Mine is as follows... did you know you get an extra foot on the 2nd edition Spectrum? Crazy but true Sinclair research used one stuck on a chip inside the case!
