Re: ZIF Socket and ZXmore
Pokemon, I ordered the ZIF socket from a Mouser Electronics( Mansfield, Texas, USA). Their website is http://www.mouse.com/. ZIF Socket bottom.jpg This is an Aries Electronics IC & Component Sockets 32 pin with handle 32-6554-11 https://www.arieselec.com/products/data/10001-universal-dip-zif-test-so...

Re: TAZMANIAC
BINGO! Please let us know the result. Are you going to buy the Spectrum 16/48 whole case or trying to work on the mold impression area? I would try to use a small board with two mini jacks installed and some wires hooked up onto the TS1500's motherboard's mic/ear area. I know that it was not perfec...

Re: TAZMANIAC
Charles, You are right about the mic and the ear ports area. This situation still forces us to use the extension. I respect you. Unless, you are using a SD card with the ZXpand, you will be fine. I just measured the top part of the TS1500 case for the distance between TS1500's video output jack and ...

Re: TAZMANIAC
Charles, Try Paul of Germany and 1024MAK(Mark) of England, these very nice gentlemen :D can answer your certain question related to the TS1500's and Spectrum's ports distance. The Spectrum's video port jack and the exposed connector are very far from each other without using the extension. :) The TS...

Re: TAZMANIAC
I totally support it 100%! I really want to see these new designs adding to the original TS1500 design. For example, a SD slot, USB memory stick port, 64k to 512K RAM, keyboard port (very good one for loading these machine code programs into the computer, using existing hexloading programs) 64k to 5...

Re: newbie Hello world from Nebraska
That is a very good question! I looked very carefully at my TS1000's / ZX81's keyboard for the "!". And, I see no "!" on the certain keyboard! Sorry.

Re: ZXmore - questions and answers (FAQ)
Pokemon, I found out that a CRT monitor did not have its own accessible horizontal hold knob. :x So I had to use another CRT monitor with its own accessible horizontal hold knob. Another CRT tv.jpg I wanted to test the LED TV result. Behold the result! LED tv.jpg Thanks. Cheers, Dessony
