Re: *HELP!* I lost my updated EightyOne source
Well, at least it's always faster to implement something the second time around...

Re: ZX-IDE tape loading
I've tried mono-mono and mono-stereo cables, with no difference. p2wav-files work perfectly fine, ZX-IDE fails.

Re: ZX81 Wiki
What I think might be good about a wiki is the fact that things disappear from the net. There is stuff that might be of interest that could survive on a wiki, but as said, only if people add to and update it. I just rummaged through my old ZX-files and found schematics for some of Wilfs bank-switche...

Re: ZX-IDE tape loading
No, normal speed does not work directly via ZX-IDE, nor does the generated wav work through other players. p2wav files does work regardless of player and soundcard.

It is different! Also, 6 channels in true stereo. And the chip is small
SAA1099
Good to see the HW-developers working productively these last years! nice sound options with AY-chips. But I was a bit confounded: no love for the SAA1099 sound-chip found in the Coupé? I have 2 chips just begging to be hooked up to my ZX81, but I'd like to hear if anyone else has done it already?

ZX-IDE tape loading
ZX-IDE has a potentially great feature that sends programs to a real ZX81 through a sound-card. Unfortunately I have not been able to get it to work. The speed-loader is simply an unachievable dream for me, since even the normal-speed loader fails midway through. The same PC, sound-cards (3 tested) ...

ZX-IDE and ROMs
Hello all, my first post here, please be gentle. I've been hacking away at my old ZX81 again these last weeks. It's been a while since last, like 11 years... I've used ZX-IDE which is really nice, though I quickly stumbled in some places. Here is a description on how to solve a specific problem I ha...
