Re: Recapped ZX Spectrum (Issue 3B) and now the Colors are wrong?

installed in the correct orientation (I don't think it would boot at all if they weren't). The assumption that the machine wouldn't boot if some caps were reversed is a false assumption, although over time it would cause more damage to the caps. How quickly the damage occurs depends on the caps vol...

I only knows another graphically similar. But this is 100% accurate with the original, has 1 pixel scrolling and supports Chroma as well. A but slower. There's the spectrum version too..

Re: Artic ZX Galaxians - now with ZONX support (and Chroma81 & UDG)

No the ZXpand+ has some Hi-Res capabilities, but requires some form of UDG interface such as the UDG4ZXpand or D K tronics board for UDG,sadly both are rare and coveted items. Correct, the ZXPand with no other expansions will do WRX hires graphic but not UDG. I wish more software would support WRX ...

BATZ is another good game with sound support, although it was written recently.

Re: Artic ZX Galaxians - now with ZONX support (and Chroma81 & UDG)

I agree, joystick support would be great. On a longer time frame I really wish there was a WRX graphics version. In the meantime, take a look at Nuclear Invaders, it has a WRX version, ZONX support and ZXpand joystick support: https://sinclairzxworld.com/viewtopic.php?p=13746#p13746 Been there, got...

Re: Artic ZX Galaxians - now with ZONX support (and Chroma81 & UDG)

The low res version showed some inconsistecies with sound on ZXPAND+ as seen in the video, Strange, are you sure it's not a problem with the cable? Have you tested it with other programs? if it could use the joystic with ZXpand would be great too.. Oh, I forgot about that, and it's easy to implemen...

SZ81 on an M1 processor Mac

Could someone with an M1 processor Mac please test this SZ81 package and let me know if it works on an M1 machine? It SHOULD work on either a 64 bit Intel Mac or an M1 Mac (I hope). I know it works on my Intel 64 bit Macs. I need someone with an M1 Mac to test it.

Re: EO v2.0 - planning stage

Well I spent all last night fighting with numerous errors of the type "attempting to link ARM-64 code against x86-64 library"... Finally got it to compile and produce an executable, but alas it falls over before even displaying a window. We'll look into it a little more next week. I got SZ81 to com...
