Re: New prototype ZX-deluxe+
The price is a little to steep for me so I'm not interested. It is the best clone I've ever seen but I can't justify buying it.

Re: New prototype ZX-deluxe+
Very impressive! Time to start collecting all my loose change and break open the piggy bank to get one! Any idea when it'll be ready? If sometime midspring I may be able to put it on my birthday list

Re: Where can I find "true" ZX81 fonts
mrtinb I actually was taught Fortran and 6502 assembly. The 6502 at the time looked like the cpu of the future (it didn't help that the university wasn't too far from where they developed the 6502) :D Things are getting a bit off target here. Once I get the zx81 emulation part working (hopefully by ...

Re: Where can I find "true" ZX81 fonts
siggi, those are interesting links and may be something worth implementing once I get things going. Right now I'm having fun trying to implement the interrupts required to do the display. The Z80 engine I'm using counts t-states so I'm using that for the 207 count for the NMI. It isn't exact but sin...

Re: Where can I find "true" ZX81 fonts
Thanks. I'll try them out. I've always wanted a ZX81 emulator with an IDE that single steps Basic and Assembly and is able to dump the contents of variables like IDEs such as Visual Studio. Since I am a programmer and want to try working on an emulator I'm giving this a try. I have had a couple of f...

Where can I find "true" ZX81 fonts

If you ever wanted to know more about the inner workings of the Z80 cpu I have found an awesome application the Z80 Explorer by Goran Devic found on this site https://baltazarstudios.com/ . It permits you to look at the Z80 down to the transistor level, run simulations to see what is being made acti...

Online ZX Spectrum 48K
I found an excellent site, 8bitworkshop https://8bitworkshop.com that has many retro computers simulated in a web based interface. They just added the ZX Spectrum 48K https://8bitworkshop.com/v3.6.0/?platform=zx&file=hello.asm . There aren't too many examples yet. I have used the online fpga simulat...
