Awww crap, we had not time for ZX81 this year. There was too many machines (including some old 16bit comps) and only 2 days (on Sunday people were mostly going home).
There were guys from Czech, Germany, Poland, England.
At least we had this http://picasaweb.google.com/factor128/I ... 2976458098 - the longest Sinclair Spectrum train ever. And it was working perfectly.
Well, I hope there will be a ZX81 on the next meeting and maybe even some competition for a short demo?
Greetz!
PS: If anybody's interested in the config of the above, I kindly explain (from upper side) -
Flash card reader
AY interface
joystick interface
32Kb RamPack
ZX Spectrum 16Kb
Sadly no ZX81 on IVP2008 8bit meeting. :(

Re: Sadly no ZX81 on IVP2008 8bit meeting. :(
Hi Yerz,
last weekend's Saturday I've been at Spectrumania meeting in Wittenberg (Germany). I wore my ZX81-t-shirt and I could get two non working ZX81-pcbs at the hardware-fleamarket, but I had no working ZX81 to show
May be next year, when I've retired, I will be able to do more for good old Zeddy's reputation
But I'm more than sure next ZX-TEAM-meeting in March 2009, you will see a lot of working ZX81s
Did you have MonoChrome mags for the guys at IVP2008?
I've included your nice mag in ZX-TEAM-MAGAZINe 4/2008, which will be published in the next weeks.

Maybe one day I will visit also some German meetings too. For now I only hosted German visitors on my small party, heh.

Well, yes, acutally I gave one issue to a German 8-bit computers' fan, Exin. Maybe he will get some interest in ZX81 too, because of it? Who knows.
