T/S 1500 High Res

Post by GCHarder »

Hi All;

Ah, the T/S 1500, the real orphan of the T/S clan. Did you know the T/S 1500 was high res capable right out of the box... well almost. Read the attached article.

Note, the routines won't work in EightyOne, the author probably didn't even know about this behavior.

Regards;

Greg

Should work with the Zxpand.
The article mentions a Hunter board and curiously enough I happen to posses two of Paul Hunters little devices, an eprom and battery back up ram board c/w manual and a letter of correspondence to Paul Hunter from the boards original owner one Jim Scherer from Indiana.

will dig them out and have a play around Methinks.

That makes an interesting read, i'm very tempted to dig my TS1500 out and have a play over xmas.

I do know that if you map static ram everywhere (disable the internal dynamic ram) then regular hi-res routines work
