HI guys,

This may be a bit of a silly question, but I was looking on here to see if there is a dedicated thread for the SINCLAIR SPECTRUM RECREATED device please:

http://sinclair.recreatedzxspectrum.com ... .php#video

I tried running a search but perhaps I did not input the correct text criteria.

Many thanks in advance for any kind assistance . . .

Best,

Paul

Paul,

There is no thread because up until a few months ago, the forums were 99% about the ZX80 and ZX81 - we have set up a small section for the Spectrum.

I don't know if this is the best place to ask about the Recreated ZX Spectrum - does anyone have one? :)

Hi RWAP,

Ok, thanks. That's helpful mate.

I will probably post a quick question in that section then.

Cheers,

You are better looking on World of Spectrum forums for this subject.
There are some hits that you may want to look at here: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/s ... &replies=0

(other than 30 x pupils crowded round a BBC comp which nobody actually got to touch!)
And they call that education!

When I was in secondary school, I went to my school counselor and asked, "Can I take computers instead of a lunch period?" What do you think she said? "No."

I was already taking advanced electives like Physics, Chem II, Calculus.

Strange I did not get counseled how to get computer experience.

Hi Gammaray,

Well I am aged 47 and did not find out until 2 x years ago that I am dyslexic!

I think in the 1970's, the general mindset of teachers was: take the money and run. . .
