I have a normal resolution old LCD TV that easily produces a perfect picture, an old glass screen TV that normally does, a 37” Sony Bravia that is either perfect or awful and a small LG which is extremely picky.
A picture that is perfect on the other three may be flickery and often has colours showing on the LG. Some zeddys I have never been able to get right on this telly.

You can’t please all of the TVs all of the time!

Agree about the LG's, I have two that are bloody fussy as well.

Just played with my Jupiter for a while and no success with composite signal on my Sony TV set. I've tried a various techniques to make the CVBS signal like in the textbooks but my TV ignores it. I can see a very nice and crisp image on my 32" LCD TV and on a very cheap 4.3" LCD from China. So, there is no point for "the Holy Grail quest". Mission accomplished. :geek:

One thing worth mentioning. I’ve made the twister board for ZX81 RAM packs and printers. Myreplica works fine with the Sinclair’s backpack. :)

To be honest I've been thinking about a small batch that would include following items:
1. Jupiter ACE replica PCB
2. 96K RAMpack PCB
3. Twister Board PCB
4. Keyboard Overlay
5. RF modulator replacement

But the set would be in range of 30-35GBP + P&P. So, I've not decided yet.

Martin: The Twister is a small board that allows to connect to JACE interfaces designed for ZX81. In the past it was called "Trumpcard". See there: https://k1.spdns.de/Vintage/Sinclair/80 ... novonics)/

I am interested to buy the 96K RAMpack PCB and the Twister Board PCB - preferably with parts ;)

Oh hell! I'm in too.

But you have to throw in a case too! Maybe one of these would work.
