Mandelbrot Set Plots

Post by GCHarder »

Here's a collection of Mandelbrot Set plots for those interested.

There are 15 plots, each with two versions.

MuNNNF.p (NNN=000 to 015)...

These require a 16K+8K LOW RAM WRX capable ZX81.

They were created using the program "Mand-FFP", (Mand)elbrot (F)ast (F)loating (P)oint by Fred Nachbaur, 1986.

MuNNNM.p (NNN=000 to 015)...

These require a 16K+8K LOW RAM WRX capable ZX81.

They were created using the program "Generalized Mandelbrot Prototype", MGP, also by Fred Nachbaur, 1988.

See the contained txt file for more info.

Enjoy;

Greg

These programs, with the exception of "Generalized Mandelbrot Prototype" could run on a 16K ZX81 with a HiRes modified RAM pack. All that would have to be changed is a pointer to the Hi-Res display file, I think.

Unless you plan on rendering plots these aren't hardware intensive programs.
