Edit: Looking at these pictures there seem to be both a MT07-01 and MT07-02 Centronics I/F.

  • two EPROMs and
  • one PROM

Yes, but the OCTAL TRANSPARENT LATCH WITH 3-STATE OUTPUTS… is made to send datas to printer, not retrieve datas !

No need to read the EPROMs.

Fred Nachbaur has an article in SyncWare News Vol. 2 Num. 2 Page 6-8.

This article describes how to read out Memotext to tape, and load it in RAM at 8k.

It even decribes how to add extra commands like QIT to quit the program.
