The advertisement was *HUGE* (which is an understatement) and those "sold out" informations and "maybe you'd wait several months" say everything.

It looks very very bad from the customer side of a stick.

This could be added now with the displayroutine from MY ZX81-emulator. Although B&W, grpahics are possible.

They have nearly completed the shipping of the first Kickstarter ZX Spectrum Next machines (222 remaining, most being held up by the situation around the world due to COVID19 Corona virus).

Once all units have been shipped, they are looking to produce a second batch - see the updates page.

I just saw a BBC news article about the Spectrum next.
That has the possibility of driving a large number of people to the second kick starter.

I've never owned a spectrum or really looked into them. And it caught my attention :)
