Using BasinC

Post by Jivrt »

I'm learning to use BasinC. I know QL superbasic and my goal is to learn to use spectrum basic by copying listings from example programs in pdf books.
My questions are:

If I copy-paste a listing from pdf directly to BasinC many lines wont copy, some characters will disappear (for example '""' becomes slash e, etc)
If I copy-paste to notepad, it copies perfectly, but when I change .txt to .bas , BasinC won't open it.

What am I missing....?
Is there a better way to copy listings to bas?

thank you

Juan

Hello Juan

Welcome :D

Your question may have already been answered on one of the other English Sinclair/Spectrum forums.
Here’s a search for Spectrum Computing forum or World of Spectrum forums. These searches may need to be refined a bit more…

ZX81 Variations
ZX81 Chip Pin-outs
ZX81 Video Transistor Buffer Amp

There are four lights!
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.
