How about this...

It is 7 or 4 right?

So this one is 7,4,7,4,4,4,4,7,4,4 (per mrtinb) 9,4,9,4,4,4,4,9,4,4

Yes, that is what I've been doing gammaray. "Periodic analysis"--looking at the size of the bits in the dropout, and then overlaying a "healthy" 4 or 9 bit pulse to replace them. Sometimes I can't really tell how the area should have looked, and then it becomes an "educated guess" at where the valleys are. The one illustrated was eventually repaired; I don't remember what the actual bits were in that instance.

Working now on Jørgen's 2nd upload of 17 more programs. Whew boy. Some of them fly straight with only a few "universal" shaping commands, others require that "bit level surgery" to get right. It's been a lot of work, but interesting.

Hmm, zip file of 14 more programs is too large to upload here. I'll put it in my dropbox for a time. Anyone who want them can download with this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4f2o8wgy6ui5z ... e.zip?dl=1

The other 3 are giving me grief.

I suppose the "dropout" vary widely in their character... yikes!

Using a sinusoid on these dropouts indicated start and stop.

Sorry Jørgen, but actually both programs are missing the beginning of the file. I can do nothing with incomplete files.

Biorytmer looks like it may have been an accident in re-recording the clip to the computer. If so, then you can try that one again.
