Hello,

I must admit that I have no experience with ribbon cable & sockets.

For me the described procedure with the pipe wrench worked very well ... and lasts only some minutes. Maybe this is owed the quality & size of the "V"-pins .....

sascha2000 has asked me to post these pictures I took of the wiring for the MultiROM in a Zeddy. Note that the two reset wires (for the ZX81 and for the ROM board) are connected together and extended out to a wire I simply touch to the modulator shield or the heat sink (ground) to do the reset. Not elegant, but it works.

Installed in my Lambda, the ZX81 compatible ROM runs great. I have used it to run the machine code game Deflection I posted at viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1201 (There's a picture of a screen there now too.)

I tested SAVE with the ZX81 compatible ROM image and then LOAD back to a real ZX81, which seems to work fine. Can't do that with a native Lambda!
