Harlequin Rev G: just lines 🙏🏻

Post by Masuto_ »

Hello, my first post here so hopefully somebody will help a newbie. I just assembled a Rev G 48k Harlequin after my spectrum sadly died. I burned a 27C256 using my TL866CS. But alas upon startup all i get is this.. could it be rom-related? Any leads to the possible culprit?

Check all your soldering points - ROM is possible, but the white border indicates that the system is "booting". Also possible is, that an IC isn't inserted correctly ...

Did you burn the content of the *.rom file in both halves of the EPROM? If so, are the pins 1 and 2 of J12 connected? I had a similar issue, although not the same "lines" pattern as described here.
