Hi,
This last week I acquire a 48k issue 3b with a lot of issues. Besides some raised tracks on low memory and a lot of bad solder work, i do have a problem around TR4, and wanted to double check here.
TR4 base track should have continuity to the coiler but it's currently failing, which leads me to believe the track is broken. Colector and Emiter continuity tests are fine.
Before doing anything, wanted to run by you guys, how should I solve this? Can I run a wire to the coiler? What will be the best way?
Thanks,
António

And a couple of google search and come up with this video:

Same issue, well sort of, but I was able to run a small wire from base to the appropriate connection, and now continuity and voltages are ok.
Thanks

Yes, run a wire. But you’ve beat me to it
