New Jersey!!!!!!!

Post by AmericanPi »

Hey ya'll.

As you might probably tell, I'm from New Jersey (USA) and a little voicestrous.

I'm am a proud owner of a Timex Sinclair 1000 :!:

I'm happy and humbled, though it may not show lol, to be a member a member of this forum now.

I hope to learn and contribute allot over the next 365 days. I'm dedicating my YouTube channel to my American ZX81 and hope to bring what I learn in this community to the masses.

Thanks so much for any welcome you give me and I hope we all have a heck of a time on our Sinclair machines, be it ZX class or otherwise, in the coming future!

Happy New Year my SINCLAIR BROTHERS AND SISTERS :D :D

I used a simple app on ny iPad for resizing.

About the pictures of people around here I find it sad that nobody used a real picture of themselves.

Subtle application of a screw driver to open the case and see what is inside to get version numbers etc.

On the zeddy a couple of the retaining screws are underneath the rubber feet so you need to remove the correct ones to open it.

You can always buy more feet to replace them on Sell My Retro or similar.

Is any thread describing what to look for?

True - issue 3 zeddys have a red pcb. Not sure about the colour for the other issues though! Are the timex 1000's the same?

I have seen that with Spectrums there are a few variations to rule though - a while back I had one with a yellow pcb rather than the usual green.
