One more from germany

Post by Thomas F »

Hi,

I'm a new member from germany. I don't know the ZX81 from the past, I've bought my first one a few month ago...

So I hope you enjoying some noob questions...

I would also get the KDLX keyboard or new membrane and install because your membrane may be brittle and not making proper electrical contact.

And if you can solder I would put on one of the 16K onboard RAM chips right from the start from sellmyretro.com.

Or if you can afford a ZXPAND!

I haven't been disappointed yet.

Welcome to ZX80 and ZX81 forum. There are TS1000 and TS1500 computers, too! :-D
