At a time when I was writing Cobol for an insurance company in France, I started home computing in 1984 with a Spectrum+, which I upgraded as soon as it became available with an Opus Discovery floppy disk unit, soon updated with a second 3.5" FD, since the casette tape recorder was such a pain in the fundament.
Later, having replaced the Spectrum with a PC Compatible for home computing, I got the Z88 for note taking while away from home.
I last fired up the Z88 over ten years ago, stored it carefully without batteries, and now find it will not boot... ;-3(
So I came here for advice...
