Hi from Canada

Post by Sam-Can »

Expat Brit now in Canada who started with a ZX81 kit, which due to its arrival time  was supplied also with Games 1 - epics like Orbit, Life and such. Ah the smell of solder and getting it finally to work on a Ferguson 12" TV. From there, moved on to the Spectrum (still remember that Horizons tape loading), C64, Amstrad and a bit of BBC. Then went 16-bit with ST and Amiga. And gradually did more with PCs. Did a lot of work with cassette and diskette loaders and duplication - questions welcome. Now with a bit of spare time on my hands, I'm back to basics with various bits of these computers and getting them back in action.

Bonjour Sam-Can,
Welcome on board! I am from Québec, the province that is! I did not start with a ZX kit but I started with a nine inch TV. And I am still with my ZX81 but with a monitor now. It is an improvement.
The ZX81 pleasure is spreading, ANDRE***
