Download early OZ

Hello,

I'm new at this forum so like to introduce myself. My name is Chris and I bought my Z88 -88.

I have an old OZ 2.5 (Swedish) that I think is faulty, I use a more current OZ but still like to have an EPROM with this old OZ. I could find 4.01 from Dennis G page but no older versions, anyone that can guide me where to DL or having the checksum so I can confirm it is correct?

The error I get is "critical error" and it happens when I press the keyboard, when I use a newer OZ this doesn't happen.

4.5 onwards is available on the Z88 wiki.

Bear in mind that any version of OZ booting from slot 1-3 still needs the Rom in 'slot' 0 too. So if that stops working you may have a problem.

One option would be to install a flash chip and replace the internal rom. Rakewell can burn a flash chip with OZ for you if you can't do it yourself.

Thank you very much for your help, I have anther EPROM with 4.01 so no problem there.
The 2.5 versions was mainly for nostalgic reasons since it was the one I got with the computer.

Vic was very kind to send me a copy of OZ2.5.

Patters is working on a flashable version of OZ 2-4.

He has produced the files, but they're not tested on real hardware.

They would allow you to downgrade Oz 4.5-oz5 to oz2-4
