a friend sent me, looks like a bug in the emul, not in the game:

I can't see the picture?
Is it the latest version of Pinball_1K?
Previous version had a bug (or is it normal behaviour) for RAM > 16K

Do you have WRX hires enabled?
Not setting the hiresmode on EO causes a black box.
You need the setting in EO, but no additional hardware on the real ZX81.
See the video's on Youtube for the right settings. in each video the WRX setting is shown to show that the game is truly hires.
