Any chance the ZX81 AY unit in EO could be fixed as it's the only emulator I've found that can load .SNG files into the tracker. At the moment it sounds like a strangled parrot!

Neil Beadle on Facebook has just pointed out that the .p file version of Manic Miner doesn't work on v1.2 EightyOne with ZXpand support enabled for some reason...

Just to add...
I tried dropping the file into the MMC_Card folder, I could not select the file, the cursor just skipped over it.
Other .P files (copied from the JS folder) work so maybe there is something wrong with the file.

One of the FB members just said it works OK on ZXpand.

It's all working now with V1.2.
I usually use real hardware, lets put it down to inexperience with the emulator.

SirMorris and I have been working on an update to the EightyOne emulator to resolve a number of bugs. The new version (version 1.3) has now been released and is available from here. See the Release history.txt file for full details of all the changes.

Support is now included for both editions of the ZX81 ROM. If upgrading from an earlier version of the emulator you will need to reselect the ZX81 ROM (either zx81edition1.rom or zx81edition2.rom) in the Hardware dialog under the Advanced Setting tab. Previously only the second edition ROM was supported and was simply named zx81.rom.

/me holds head in hands

It's ... it's too hard :(

The AY emulation is broken beyond repair I fear. I've looked but it's not immediately obvious what's going on.
