My record for 10 lap race, on the first track, so far is 1:13, can anyone beat it?
I know it'll be possible for me to get faster too, as I made a few bumps on that round too, about 7.

Go for it, I'd like to see other peoples times :)
And lap counts on survival too!

Baggers:

good God, I didn't know You're a celebrity/legend in ZX Spectrum world, man. I would address You "mister" or something. :)

My never-ending respect anyway. Especially for "Midnight Resistance" (and not only).

I hope that's not the last game for ZX81 from You.
This machine is surely a great game-platform (and with ZXpand joystick - even better).

Down to 1:30 for the first track, played with Spud81. I have to say that the keys are a little less sensitive (or on my machine they are) than on EightyOne, which makes the game just a bit easier to play. That would be my one tweak to the game Jim: take down the key sensitivity a notch :-)

Regards,

Shaun.

Thanks for the indirect feedback Shaun LOL!! I'll take a look at the key handling routines and see if I can adjust that.
