I have no words...
Re: Coming soon... AA81
Pretty damn amazing Bobs! And I thought OLG was pretty damn impressive. How do you make these things happen inside a television set using only a Sinclair ZX81?

Re: Coming soon... AA81
It's simply fantastic, please go ahed and release it !
What I like most is that Sandy White wrote the original Ant Attack game by directly POKEing the hex values into the Spectrum's RAM:

Even ManicMiner was already cross-assembled, so AA is probably one of the last "big size" machine code programs fully developed in the old-school way. I don't think you did it in the same way, right ?
Did you get comments from Sandy ?

Re: Coming soon... AA81
I've been in contact with Sandy White (the author of the original game) for many months regarding this conversion, and he's very impressed by it ("Awesome" were his exact words when he saw the video above). Sandy has been hugely helpful in bringing this game to completion, and it would never have happened without his backing of the project.stefano wrote:Did you get comments from Sandy ?
The game will be released shortly...
