Joseph Donnelly of Dublin has sent a fascinating game which involves
moving a spent fuel rod from a nuclear reactor. The display shows
the reactor from above, with different types of fuel rod arranged
in a chessboard pattern.

The active rods must be manoeuvred so as to allow the passage of
the spent rod, but active rods of the same type may not be placed
too close without the imminent risk of contamination. A gauge at
the side of the screen shows the danger level you have reached.

The game as listed is extremely difficult but could be made easier
by omitting lines 115 and 117, which would allow diagonal moves, or
by dropping line 210, which would mean that there was no restriction
on the proximity of active rods.
