Do you record the videos in an emulator or on a real ZX81?

If you're on a real ZX81, do you play with the membrane keys, or a connected keyboard? (Looks like you're really fast on the keys)

For recordings it's always emulator as I can easily transfer files and video via this method. If something goes wrong or I forget something I can reload the game in an instant to take a screenshot or quick screen grab of a highscore table etc.. However if you're hearing keys on the video that's my youngest on her own keyboard she's a unbelievable fast typist, yet she types like an elephant at the sametime!

When it comes to playing and enjoying a game before a recording, that's different and always will be, my desk and "other area" is set up to transfer machine to with the minimum amount of fuss :D

I like the way you do it, including background graphics.
