Does anyone know how to actually get this to run? I have EightyOne set for WRX graphics and it just loads in an endless loop after I select the character set.

Tried this on Eighty One and SZ-81 and it works perfectly for me.

Set for ZXpand and make sure all the files are in the ZXpand_SD card folder and navigate to it from there.

Nope, still nothing. Have what as far as I can tell is the latest version of EightyOne (1.39), all the Ymir II files are in the folder you said and ZXpand is ticked. If I try to open the TZX I get the nice title screen, then the intro screen and a 9/120 crash. If I load the P file it asks me to choose the character set and whichever I choose the screen glitches briefly then goes back to the font selection.

Hmmm I believe this is the second program you cannot run yet works for me and I assume, by extension, the rest of us so I can only assume there is problem with your setup of Eighty One, which would need someone brighter than myself to help cure.

Do you have the 8k ram enabled in advanced setting?

You must disable ZXpand to work with the .tzx file
