Hi,

the version for ZX81 with ZXpand interface is ready.
DOWNLOAD: http://yerzmyey.i-demo.pl/nihilum_ZX81_eng.zip
SirMorris and the guys made excellent work with coding. Hi-res graphic, fluent scrolling of pictures, AY-music engine and so on.

Image

Controls:
8 and NewLine (ENTER) for PAGE DOWN - next page. Also: to skip the pictures.
5 for PAGE UP (previous page).
6 & 7 (cursors UP/DOWN) scroll the text UP/DOWN.
A,B,C as "ACTION KEYS" - at the appropriate time to advance to the next chapter.
S - music ON/OFF.

Text, music and graphic by Yerzmyey/H-PRG.
Code and fonts by SirMorris.
Scrolling WRX driver by Adam Kloxblit.
STC player by Andy Rea.

English language help - Gasman/H-PRG.

*******
IF THE GAME DOESN'T WORK - PLEASE PUT ALL FILES IN THE **ROOT** FOLDER.
But it should not be necessary. I tested it and works fine from its own catalogue.
*******

Enjoy.
Y

In EightyOne I get sound only but no graphics. I have setup 32 kB RAM, ZXpand and WRX. Any ideas?

yerzmyey: as creative as the spelling is, please change my name to "Adam Klotblixt" in the credits :)

mrtinb: there is a bug in the zxpand seek implementation in EO, update should arrive when SirMorris has had time to act.

Did you ever get this working?

I tried with EightyOne v1.29 configured for WRX and ZXpand+ . On loading it returns to K prompt. If I "Enable RAM in 8k-16k", then on loading it shows a blank screen

I ended up using real hardware, as the emulation of ZXpand in EightyOne was not complete. Maybe try the newest EightyOne might help.
