Hi all,

Crayon21, I think you have a minimalist vision of this competition.

The term "crappy" is used to encourage novices to create without being ashamed of their exploratory work on a computer.
Any idea based on programming tests is the start of a program, game or tool for yourself.

This competition allows you to share programs resulting from spontaneous ideas or attempts to remake a game according to your possibilities.
In the end, in this competition, no game is shit, but they are lucky to exist.

Send:
10 PRINT "Nothing";
20 GOTO 10+0+0+0+0+0+0+0+0+0

Genius comes from a crappy idea, but only intelligence can make it happen...

Once there was a game that was poorly coded but was a great puzzler.

I updated the game and now a much better version can be played.

Its tongue in cheek yes? By calling it "crappy" there's no pressure that it has to be great, but I can't imagine making it crappy on purpose. We code as best we can, but others may call it crappy but its the best we can do. If we get lucky, we might actually do a "good" app lol. We (me and "computergui") plan to submit one this year that will be the best we've done to date, in WRX hi res, and with zonx sound too. Its about 80% done, just need to buckle down and finish.

To me it is an idea with some weirdness in it.
having said this it doesn’t mean I will wait to release a game withw weirdness just for the comp. See MAKE A SHIT for this.
The compo to me is indeed not to put too much effort in it, although my other idea needs some effort but will be crap in the actual gameplay. It also means that I might need rest of the year to finish it … or not.

Well, I need to beat Jim Waterman.
does it have to be in BASIC?
