Hi sirmorris! How are you?

It 's a Shoot 'em up game, like Galaga.

In fact is the same game tha I am trying to recover from the tape that I ask in Emulator section.

May be, someone have a copy of it and I can jump the hard step of the convertion :?

Fine thanks :D

I searched all my known software source places but I don't see any copy or even a mention of the game. If you would like help with the conversion then I will be happy to have a go. I will need a good quality WAV file - many people think that 8 bit 22khz is good enough or even - heaven forbid - low quality MP3 but I believe you should always start with the best quality rip that you can get.

I can't find any mention on Internet about "Proteus" for Zeddy.

I found even some "Proteus" game for c64 http://greatflash.co.uk/index.php?topic=52.0

Do we have anything like this on famous ZX81-server? (I'm still loosin' its address, haha).

Hi yerzmyey!

Thanks for your interest.

No. It is a game developed to accompany the Czerweny CZ 1000. It was a ZX81 clone distributed only in Latin America.

Nice machine! In the other post I had myself convinced that you were dealing with a spectrum tape..!

Try downloading this and listening to it - does it sound like your tape?

Argh, dude I know what You mean. Somehow it's hard to find in P files maaaaaaaany great games from more/less that areas (and similar).
Also - Brazil but still alike case - I remember we were pretty surprised finding the "Treasure Hunter", a classic game by Tadeu Curinga. One of the best ZX81 and I had no freaking idea about its existence. And again, like in Your case, "a game developed in Brazil, released in 1986 for the Sinclair ZX-81 and its Brazilian clones (TK-82C, TK-83, TK-85 and CP-200S)"

I wish You luck in Your quest then. ;) Actually, seeing Your query, I was looking for it on Internet for an hour or so, but I found nothing. :(
