Hi Siggi,
Over the past few months I did not deal with this problem, but I spent a lot of time writing and testing new arithmetic routines.
They are now faster and a bit smaller :!: coming soon. :D

I built a new ROM image using the renewed arithmetics and a little patch in the 'NEXT' routine. :D :D :D

very nice work indeed... i should with this ROM be able to break the 1000% speed increase barrier with my 20Mhz uber zeddy.. best to date is 960%

This doesn't just surpass the old record it absolutely ate it, swallowed it, and spat it out, before trampling all over it ! almost half as fast again !
