Today I managed to get my Dataman S4 running again, and built its emulead. This enabled me to boot the ZX81 via an emulated eprom-image in the S4. YAY!
Next step will be building an external rom-expansion card. Kind of like the interface 2 for the speccy.
After that I'll start coding a special program
