So far this is the best keyboard for TXZ81000 (TS1000/ZX81) conversion since most of important keys layout is arrayed on 8x5.

It's dirty and one key is stuck from some contaminent...

Need to clean. What solvent would work on plastic, aluminum and copper chemically neutral?
Will use a Waterpik to clean tight spots with a controllable jet of fluid.

IPA is goo. But be very careful with any printed labels. They will come off if the paint is alcohol based.

If IPA is Isopropyl Alcohol commonly found at drug stores in various concentrations,

that is how I dissolved the aluminized contacts on my mother's TS1500 keyboard membrane. She relegated it to the closet until SellMyRetro began selling replacements for the Spectrum which could be used as a replacement. That is when my covetous nature convinced her she no longer needed it

Looking for another substitute unless no one thinks that anything on the TI99/4A keyboard would be aluminized...

Probably will make a power cord as it is 4 pronged and none on eBay except bundled with a computer.

Using some liquid RTV silicone and making a mold using male recessed socket from OEM power circuit, aplug could be made. Mostly because case would need modification to use more modern equivalent.

Then it is time to determine if a new PCB for power and/or other things is necessary...

What voltage max. current scheme is already being put out...I'll get my voltmeter...
