Well done! I enjoy it and it is addictive. :)

Some annoying flickering when I unroll the pipe horizontally. I run the game under the ZXSP Emulator.

I was thinking about trying to write an "Anteater" game, but I'm glad that you did it first. All those little details - the oil company idea, the "panic pipe retreat", the rotating hose drum, the moving clouds - make it a very enjoyable game!

And it's very addictive, because the bottom cave is so hard to reach, and there is so much oil down there! :D

Great stuff very much harder than i thought it would be, also very slick animation definitely gets you a little excited. the sounds effects are great and for me really improve the whole game experience.

thanks for taking the time to do this....

Regards Andy

p.s. is oil a dream of the magnificent Sir Morris BIGG

I must control myself and play less often. I got stuff to do.

Very good game.

Unless I'm missing something obvious, I don't see where to download the game.

Forgive me if I've missed it as I'm very tired.

Thanks,

Shaun

It is in the last page of the New ZX81 games post in the Games category viewtopic.php?f=4&t=552&start=110. I haven't tried it but when I get less busy with life I'll give it a try. :)

The problem is the games page just links back to this page, when you click the download link.

The link is indeed dead.

I've contacted Charlie who is at a loss to understand why but he's asked me to post a copy, also there is a UDG version that can be found here...
