I never ceased to be amazed at what people do with the little zeddy and this is no exception. It was nice to see your MIDI board too, in your next video perhaps show the Yamaha so we see the complete setup.

Now if you are taking requests Siggi I shall put my Pfennigs into the machine and request Hotel California if you have that in your jukebox.

Excellent work. :ugeek:

Hi Siggi,

Ihre Arbeit ist wunderbar und unterhaltsam in dieser traurigen Krise.
Hast du darüber nachgedacht, einen Sprachsynthesizer zum Singen zu bekennen?

Your work is wonderful and entertaining during this sad crisis.
Did you think about confessing a voice synthesizer to sing?

Indeed: https://forum.tlienhard.com/phpBB3/view ... 838#p42838

But that would require a conversion of text into vocals at realtime (between 2 MIDI-events) AND an AI to detect the language ...

Meanwhile Joachim has updated the software of the LCD display: now it supports also German special characters (e. g. used by Nena ;) )
And I have modified the midiplayer for better readability of the Karaoke text:

Nice clear Umlaut and Eszett characters so well done to Joachim and your self.

I suppose by logical extension then characters could be created for Asian or Arabic languages, now that would be a project!

"neunundneunzig"
="ninety nine"="quatre vingt dix neuf"= "99"

Es ist lustiger auf deutsch...

I don't know why but in the UK the song was called 99 RED(ROT) balloons not Luft balloons.
