I was thinking this morning - would a nice machine code scroll be of any use?
Hi,
I'm working on a short asm code to sustitut the "Data" in Spectum machines.
To Dipic and 8kadv andré's codes.

But, i had to open a new tread "Zx81'Rom with Restore, data... instead of Zxprinter codes!"
I don't find any informations on the web... some where in "comp.sys.sinclair"...

It''s ok...
But, i retrieved an example

http://groups.google.at/group/comp.sys. ... 70923eb54e

Something like that !

Have Fun!

I'm sure that gus is working on getting the text correct. It just needs to wordwrap in certain rooms so that no text is cut off or missing.

Hi Paul :)

I will do a little routine that print out all the room descriptions in order to check the word-wrap problem without play the complete adventure :) then I can do the changes or fixes that we need :)
This afternoon I will release a new version :)

Be well,
Gus

Bonjour to all of you,

Finally, I am on the forum. Thankx to Rich! But I still have a problem: The text in the boxes listing different threads is cut in less than halves making reading impossible. I had to tried them one by one until I get to this thread. The same the options text at the beginning.

Yes! I have a working (very well) beta version of "DUNRIC'S 8K ADVENTURE". And it uses only a little more than 10K. Any one would like to try it? Or were can I upload it? I can not release it officialy because I am not satisfied completly yet.

I used my own READ-DATA-RESTORE subroutine, following more closely the original program. But GUS version (which I have tried) follows more closely the screen display of the original game.

I read above a question by Yerz about the exclamation point on the ZX81, well if you try my version, you will see one. Amazing, that question poped up in this thread, and I had already had used an exclamation sign in the game.

Happy to be onboard, ANDRE***

Hey Andre,

I would love to see your port as well. You can upload it here on these forums. Or provide a download link to it.

Welcome Andre to the forums - what browser are you using to view the forums? As I have tried various browsers running on Windows (Safari, Opera, Firefox, Internet Explorer v7) and they all seem to show the forums fine.
