I have tried the quiz, using my ZX81NU(56K) and USB-loader (as usual).
They game loads and runs, but crashes after the 8th question (tested in G and D language)

When coding the quiz I did take in account your USB-loader.
I need to see what happens around question 8

I set EighyOne to 48K and RAM in #2000-#3FFF but game runs without problems.
So I can't reproduce it.

My USB driver uses and updates the following system variables:
COORD
XPTR
SEED
PRBUF[]
FLAGS
DFILE (read only)

Do you also use them?

Hmm, PRBUF is only used, when the USB driver is called by another M/C program (to pass the filename). That was not the case, when I loaded your program.
But the driver uses also ROM calls (RST 20 to fetch the filename from BASIC command line), which might update other sysvars ....
