I'd like to inform proudly, that I sent today money for the ZXpand, ZXpand-AY and MrX AY. :)
Soon I will be annoyingly asking everybody on the Forum about details related with the hardware. ;)
At the moment I have this one -
is the file-browser 100% ready to use already?
Thx all,
Yerz

You will not regret this Yerz it is the best fun I have had, also don't forget to download Andys' tracker and compiler and the speech program too.

The file browser is really good too.

Regards.
Moggy.

Hi,
I found a bug in the Browser.
When there is a lot of files in the catalogue/folder, then the Browser crashes.
(Native system doesn't do it).
It happens in case of thing like STC-Player, where is a lot of STC files, You know.

Agreed Yerz.

I tried 2000 plus files and it died

Moggy.

It could load at once only one "screen" of files. Based on "scroll?"-requester's idea.
After SPACE it would stop. After ENTER or any other key - it would resume listing. But wouldn't list thousands of files at once. So it wouldn't crash.
Of course if anybody would be able to re-write the prog. ;) ;) Which I'm not. 8-)

There was a feature request for the XZpand directory list function to operate on 'pages' - unfortunately this is very slow due to the underlying FAT file system library. It wouldn't be trivial to implement in any kind of fast fashion :(

Erm. I thought it does it now...? It stops listing files after one page and awaits for a key. It stops 'totally' ;) when SPACE is pressed.
Or maybe I got something wrong..........?
