I ran some tests on the mouse and took the cover off for a picture. When I move the mouse (cable at the top) up or down, the cursor barely moves but jitters a little side to side. When I move it to the left the mouse cursor somewhat moves to the right. Likewise when moved to the right it somewhat moves to the left. Lots of jittering.

Hi sirmorris.
I just took ZXPand + and I saw that this driwer mouse does not work with this device. Do you agree? Is there driver for version plus? Thank you.

Hi,
there is no mouse support in +, sorry. It was not really practical and I was unhappy with the compromises required to make it work. Another user has successfully interfaced a mouse with the new board - using arduino as a mouse host. I will make a mouse interface some time but it isn't high on my priority list yet.

Re: ZXpand / Atari ST mouse driver
A serial mouse should be much easier to interface nowadays, with the plus model. Anyone had a go yet?

Re: ZXpand / Atari ST mouse driver
A bit late to the party on mentioning this here, but as Sir Morris mentioned there is a DIY USB mouse interface addon for the ZXpand and ZXpand+

All details on how to build it are in the 2 articles. I'm planning on making a more compact version when time permits.
