Probably Chinese dollars…
Non, you had to bay a disk reader, some floppy … to store 100kbytes on each.
Just use the SD reader card.

Can you point me to a manufacturer? Can I get low quantities?

What's been your experience in getting project like this built?

Pcbshopper.com
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

There were a few on pcbshopper that were cheaper, although the lead times were fairly long. I'd be curious about the quality. OSHpark boards are first class.

When I added in the assembly, without parts I'm not seeing that you can get these done really cheap, including parts, from china...

Anyway... Back to my original question. Has the artwork been verified?

All PCBs I bought through manufacturers linked to from PCBshopper is supreme quality. I've also tried OSHpark once. Same quality. OSHpark is just more expensive from where I live.

If you use JCLpcb.com (EasyEDA) they do very cheap assembly in small quantities as well. This is not mentioned on PCBshopper, because the JCLpcb's API for assembly does not work together with PCBshopper. (PCBshopper told me this, when I asked why JLCpcb was not listed on their assembly prices.)

I got my rebuild not fully working. It reads correctly but does not format and write. I checked it with the original again and again, no ideas anymore.
