Can give the layout files in Eagle 3.55 format or as PDF. And the ROM image too. Anything you need to build your own mageco.

I am working on translating manual into American English (Texun). Maybe someone could edit afterword for mistakes or U.K computer terms.

Example:

French: Catalogue
U.S: Directory

Options: Index, Catalog, Listing,....

Err, in “Hopelessly Divided Land” (formally known as the United Kingdom) we use BOTH Catalogue and Directory depending on the computer system. In Acorn computing (Atom, BBC B Micro, Master 128 etc) the word catalogue is used for example. The filing system command actually being:

Code: Select all

*CAT
It may be that directory became more common due to CP/M and the later MS-DOS / PC DOS...

CAT in Linux means "conCATenate".

https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/CAT shows other terms for the acronym "CAT".

Great!

Is it the difference that DIR is more common with file systems that can handle subdirectories as well and CAT does not?

No. Dir on CP/M 2.x and before don't support subdirectories.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.
