Welcome to to Zx-Cube project.
We plan to upgrade a Zx81... 64k ... Geos mouse port ... reset button ...
We had to rebuild our Zx81...

All it needs now is a front loading tape machine to fill the hole in the front of the case!

Hi, :D

1/ I'm not good at painting ! :evil:
2/ I will try to install a car-tape-loader in the empty slot !!! :twisted:
but, this tape-loader are too heavy for a standard power sypply !!!
I will had to install a 12v battery in the project...

I recommend to install a ZX96 compatible backplane to use the exisisting ZX96/ZX81 addon cards like a harddisk (IDE) interface, a megabyte ram card, a floppy interface or a MMC interface.

This also reminds me of a Brazilian that placed his Sinclair clone inside a case, complete with tape recorder:
