DIP switch setting for the Memotech Memopak 64K

Post by Ælfstangard »

Hello...

Could someone please tell me what the default DIP switch settings for the Memotech Memopak 64K are? :?: I've inherited a TS 1000 from my dad and would like to get it working with the 64K extension but it seems the the DIP switch settings have been altered.

I would also like to know what the DIP switch setting are when using it with the LARKEN DOS interface and where the grounding? plug is to be plugged in. I have the manual that goes with the LARKEN DOS system but in both cases the information is lacking.

Thanking you all in advance for your time and trouble,

The scanned version of the manual can be found here: http://k1.spdns.de/Vintage/Sinclair/80/ ... 4K/Manual/. It includes the memory diagram as well.

The only diagram the manual includes is the memory diagram.

I think this was not published from Memotech.
Do you have a wiring diagram from your pc or your smartphone ? ;)

Memotech Memopak's used a PAL and/or a high speed PROM for some address decoding and control line decoding anyway. So a schematic alone would not provide full details.

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.
