ZX8-CCB vs ZXVid
Re: ZX8-CCB vs ZXVid
Probably how long a normal letter goes from Germany to USA. I guess it could be around one week, not sure if a bit delayed during all the christmas post. There would be a chance to do a registered letter rather a normal letter which may be transported faster with additional postage of EUR 4.50.

Thanks. Would that one have tracking info?PokeMon wrote:Probably how long a normal letter goes from Germany to USA. Tracking info is available till border Germany only but insured against loss if complained after a while. You can not expect the same service as an expensive parcel nor do I have an account with UPS, FEDEX or any other company. Doesn't make sense for this low volume production and cheap device. If the postage and tracking is more expensive than the product (EUR 7.50 for a ZX8-CCB) you have to think if this is worth for.

My board has arrived! It's tiny! I kind of knew it must be but seeing it in the flesh it makes me wonder how you can assemble / solder them! Must have bettter eye sight than me.
Sadly I have still yet to even get the soldering iron out of its box... Joys of having a 4 week old baby I guess.

Well - just a magnifying lamp and a steady hand is needed.

I have a magnifying glass. Will have to cut down on coffee though.PokeMon wrote:Well - just a magnifying lamp and a steady hand is needed.

I have a shaky hand too. I find that soldering under magnification helps with this. The shakes almost completely disappear if I keep drinking use some form of magnifier.

Yeah, you're right...PokeMon wrote:Tracking info is available till border Germany only but insured against loss if complained after a while. So, how do I go about ordering one from you?
Thanks.

Re: ZX8-CCB vs ZXVid
Thanks to PokeMon for an awesome product and thanks to Fwapp for the pictures of how to integrate it into the existing modulator!
I'm not going to embarrass myself with photos of the soldering job I did...
Do I need to do something to adjust the picture so moves to the right a little? Or is this where it is supposed to be?
Finally the image is not so good on an LCD TV. Is the output TV specific or do I just need to adjust it a little to work well with both?
I have 2C210 ULA.
Thanks once again!
