Later this week (when I have sometime off) I will have a look at my archive, as I have some files for the ZX1541 (should I ever get enough time, I want to build a version for myself).

ZX81 Variations
ZX81 Chip Pin-outs
ZX81 Video Transistor Amp

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:

I have binary dump of eeprom but would be better to have it in .P file...
Know that the German ZX-Team has also created an interface for the 1541. It seems all files are for that interface: http://www.8bit-wiki.de/8bitdb.html?&no ... 81d9ff7cd7

Seems it works :P

Only question is what type of flies i can load with it (???) SEAWOLF gave me blackscreen after loading
- Manual says that it load .P files, but only RAMTOP.P shows me anything after RUN & REVERSI.P autoruns after load :/

How to test RAMPACK ? Seems it is constantly disabled - DISIN LED should blink but is lid what means it got "1" state

It seems that ROM file i have is for german ZX1541 and there was no RAM expansion on board.

So I need to wait for 1024MAK or Jarek - both promised to dig in their archives, when they find some spare time :D

Anyway i need to install video mod in my ZX81 because RF sucks :P
Piggyback 16k RAMpack on top of ZX1541 will be good idea for saturaday too... we will see :D

Piggyback RAMpack 16k done

zx1541-piggy16k.jpg

... and successfully tested

zx1541-screen4.jpg

... now SEAWOLF.P loads and run \o/

zx1541-screen5.jpg

Composite mod left to be done only :P

BTW, it seems that in ROM file there are 2 versions of firmware.
RAND USR 8192 executes ZX1541 menu too ^.^
