Did you translate the character from zeddy to ASCII?
Or is this automatic in ZXPand+?
What happens if you send the same character multiple times?
Always the same result or differs the result periodically?

@Paul Turns out the problem is with my TTL/RS232 voltage converter so the signals aren't detected correctly. I'll get a new one and hope my Zxpand didn't melt.

Hey all,
I just wanted to let you know that I replaced my serial cable and now sending to the ZX works fine (LOAD "$" works great, but there's no LOAD "$ STOP" ).
Next step is to try the SERIAL GET command soon and then rule the world.
