I guess you have seen Searle's NMI generator page?
I do not think your clone includes an nmi generator at all, the NMI requires 6 more chips or so. So your only chance with this would be the 8K rom in fast mode.
OK, here is a scan of the naked PCB @1200 DPI jpeg, but I think the post-processing would be quite extensive to make a copy of this. The bottom layer would be OK to copy, but the top layer also has printed text which messes with the track visibility. Also, LOTS of vias!

I've decided to build the kit, so I hope someone shouts quickly before I go too far if they want another scan :)

Well, you just reminded me to have a look at my TL801 :-)

You can coose between ZX80 or ZX81 Mode with a Jumper (Yellow)... the Jumper on the left side is to change the Backround (black on white or white on black). Without Jumpers the ZX80-Mode is on...

Hello Nollkolltroll,
I now have the TL801 that was formerly owned by Jens.
I have no instructions though.
Do you still own the instructions and are willing to send me a copy?
Kind regards Paul

It is apparently possible to use a switch to configure it for ZX80- or ZX81-mode, but it is designed more like the ZX80.
The PCB is not a bad one, but the instructions are Italian only :)
It is not featured on the internet very much.
Anyone has any experiences with this?

This is the documentation that came on a CDr with my kit.
There is also scans of the ZX80 & ZX81 manuals in REALLY bad quality. There are better copies online.
The included programs (.P and .O files) are also found online.
