I am going to be pulling my "stuff" out of the closet soon and am debating which system to use. Should I use a TS1000 with the 64k ram pack or should I use the TS1500 with a 16k ram. I havent seen many mods for the ts1500 but I love the feel of it over the ts1000.

hi bill!
there are some 64k-RAM made by several manufacturer - and all of them are different - do you really need more than 16k?

Actually I meant more in the way of which system would be better for any hardware upgrading? It seems the majority of all the upgrades are designed to take advantage of the ZX81 . TS1000 design and not the TS1500 which is really different.
Maybe I should try to stuff a ZX81, TS1000 inside o fthe TS1500 and have a switch to use one or the other?

Yes. And that different designs also affect software: AFAIK it is not possible to make a TS1500 hires-compatible (WRX graphic). So you won't be able to run ZX81 Hires games ...Bill H wrote: It seems the majority of all the upgrades are designed to take advantage of the ZX81 . Re: Which one to use
The TS1500 isn't that popular. I would stick to the TS1000 as most mods are done for it. But besides a few rom differences, I think everything else on the TS1500 is compatible with the TS1000 (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).
